What an industrial project covers

Most industrial clients need more than one kind of image from a single visit. A typical day produces several of these.

Facilities and exteriors

Plants, warehouses, hangars, and yards, photographed at the hour the light works for the building.

Operations in progress

Lines running, equipment in use, and crews working, without staging the floor or stopping production.

Equipment and product

Machinery, tooling, fleet, and finished product, on site or brought to the downtown studio.

People on site

Technicians, operators, and supervisors in their real environment, in the PPE they actually wear.

Leadership portraits

Executive and management portraits captured the same day, on site or against a clean background.

Aerial coverage

Elevated and aerial angles for large footprints, campuses, and anything that will not read from the ground.

Working on an active site

The reason most industrial photography goes badly is not the camera work. It is a photographer who has never been escorted through a plant, does not know what a restricted zone is, and slows down a shift.

We plan the route with your EHS or facilities contact before the visit, so the day is a walk-through you already approved rather than a series of interruptions.

  • Certificate of insurance provided in advance, naming your entity as required
  • Own PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, high visibility vest, and steel toe boots
  • Site specific safety briefings and escort requirements followed without exception
  • Restricted areas, proprietary processes, and no-photography zones marked before the visit
  • NDAs signed on request, and images held from public use until you clear them
  • Badging and background checks completed ahead of the date when your site requires them
  • Drone work flown under a current FAA Part 107 certificate, airspace cleared in advance

How a project runs

The same three steps whether it is a half day at one building or a week across multiple sites.

1

Walk-through and quote

We review the site, the areas you want covered, access requirements, and how the images will be used, then send a written quote with usage rights included.

2

Production day

Insurance and safety paperwork clear ahead of the date. We arrive early, follow your escort and PPE rules, and work the approved route while the site keeps running.

3

Review and delivery

You review everything in a private online gallery, including a compliance pass if your team needs to clear images before release. Selected files are retouched by hand and delivered ready for print, web, and trade show use.

Questions we get from plant and marketing teams

Will this slow down production?
No. We plan the route in advance and work around the shift rather than through it. If a line has to pause for a specific angle, we agree on that before the day, not on the floor.
Who owns the images?
You get the usage rights quoted in writing before the project starts, so marketing, HR, sales, and trade show teams all know what they can use and where. No surprise licensing conversations later.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. We sign NDAs regularly and hold images from any public or portfolio use until your team clears them.
How fast do we get files?
Selects go into a private gallery for review, and retouched files follow within a few business days. If you have a trade show or an annual report deadline, tell us at the quote stage and we build the schedule around it.
Do you travel outside Phoenix?
Yes. Multi-site projects across Arizona, out of state, and internationally are quoted with travel included so there are no add-ons after the fact.

Tell us about your site

Use the form below and we come back with a written quote, usually the same business day. Call or text if that is faster.

What to include

  • Company name and what the facility produces or services
  • Site or sites, and roughly how much square footage or how many buildings
  • What needs photographing, and whether people are in frame
  • Access requirements, escort rules, and any restricted areas
  • Date or window, and any shift or shutdown constraints
  • Where the images will be used, so usage rights are quoted correctly

Video and drone coverage can be added once the photography scope is set.
